Mike Conley, Grizzlies Reportedly Agree in Principle on 5-Year Contract | News, Scores, Highlights,

Point guard Mike Conley hit the market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and despite garnering interest from multiple teams, he reportedly decided to stay with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Marc Stein of ESPN, citing league sources, reported the two sides agreed in principle on a five-year, $153 million contract. Stein added that the finer points are "nearing conclusion."
Earlier, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reported the Grizzlies would table "a full five-year max offer."

Conley, a point guard who can score (he's averaged 13.6 points per game in his career, including 16.2 over the last three seasons), will pique the interest of a number of teams. He can stretch defenses with his three-point shooting (37.3 percent in his career) and set up teammates (six or more assists per game in five of the last six years).
He is also an impressive defender who led the NBA with 174 total steals in 2012-13 on his way to second-team All-Defense recognition.
